The Hunt Continues

I’m now down to three candidate houses. We went back to two of them today, but we weren’t able to get into the third because their child was sick. We’ll try again later in the week. After that, I guess it’ll be decision time.
Anyway, between that and the other errands I’ve had to do, I haven’t had much time to write new entries.

Hey Aubrey, are you buying a house? We just went through the process. Basically sacrificed this whole summer to the real estate gods. My daughters are pretty serious equestrians and we took the plunge from the burbs to a horse property about 20 miles out. The process aged me 10 years. Alcohol is what got me through.
Yep. I’m probably going to make a decision in the next couple of days and make an offer on one. So far, it’s been pretty stress-free. However, I understand that the worst part is yet to come (contracts, appraisals, inspections, etc).
Yes, at least for us finding it was the easy part. But every deal is different so who knows. Our place was a challenge in a couple of ways but its done now. Good luck!
