I'm done for the year. I have two glorious weeks off. I'm not completely sure what I'm going to do during that time, but it's all good. I think that the first order of business, though, will be to sleep disgracefully late in the morning...
Ok, so this wasn't exactly a deep thought blog entry, and the cat pic is gratuitous. What can I say, I just got back from Fogo de Chão, which is a fabulous Brazilian churrascaria in Addison. I'm stuffed to the gills with meat and beer. Sleep beckons....
Posted by Aubrey at December 20, 2002 10:01 PMI wish I had meat and beer right now. I can't wait to get off this damn campus. Going to school with a bunch of "crunchy granola" chicks means we hardly ever get red meat.
Posted by: Bitter B. at December 20, 2002 11:36 PMI feel for you. I couldn't imagine living in that situation.
When spring comes around you ought to setup a hibachi or a small grill and make some steaks or something. If nothing else, it'll piss off the crunchy granola chicks :) . I remember from my college days that the hibachi was pretty popular (although that was with off-campus people, living in a dorm might make it impractical).
Posted by: Aubrey Turner at December 21, 2002 10:59 PMI'll do the next best thing. Come spring I'll probably be heading to my "real" home in Oklahoma to see friends. Not only is there plenty of great meat, but I can get catfish, okra, and even white gravy. New England has no white gravy! Nobody even knew that gravy comes in multiple recipes and colors. The insanity of it all!
