Pink

One of the first tasks I’m going to have before I move in will be the mitigation of all the pink.

For example, the wallpaper in the dining area is just too busy for me.  I’d prefer something with less pattern (and in a different color, although I haven’t figured out what yet).

The living room isn’t too bad, since the pink is more subdued.  However, it just doesn’t suit me.

Looks like a nice place, but you’re right about the pink.  They always say when you look at a house you’re thinking of buying to “look past the decorating.”  Its ironic but the one time I couldn’t it was so bad, we ended up buying a year later.  A couple had bought it completely re-decorated in a very cool fashion and proceeded to get divorced.

Aubrey, it’s Box Time, my friend. Drop me a line to arrange pick-up. I need a day’s notice so I can rescue the rest from our old place.

  3. Thanks, Kim.  I’m sending you an email to arrange the time.

I dunno, I prefer that kitchen to that living room!  The pink in the kitchen is pretty and borders on/mixes with purple.  The living room is just an ugly almon-like pink.

FWIW I have a pink living room.  It’s so light it’s almost white, and it’s not bad.
