Very Hostile…
Here are my results:
Cynicism Score: 10
- If your score is 0 to 3, your Cynicism level is very low.
- If your score is 4 to 6, your Cynicism level is probably high enough to be of some concern.
- If your score is 7 or more, your Cynicism level is very high.
Anger Score: 10
- If your score is 0 to 3, your Anger level is very low.
- If your score is 4 to 6, your Anger level is probably high enough to deserve your attention.
- If your score is 7 or higher, your Anger level is very high.
Aggression Score: 8
- If your score is 0 to 3, your Aggression level is very low.
- If your score is 4 to 6, your Aggression level is borderline, and you may want to consider ways to reduce it.
- If your score is 7 or more, you probably need to take serious steps to reduce your Aggression level.
Total Hostility Score: 28
If your Total Hostility score is 10 or less, some research suggests that your hostility level is below the range where it is likely to place you at risk of developing health problems. Any score higher than 10 may place you in the group whose hostility level is high enough to increase your risk of health problems.
Of course the test itself suffered from an annoying lack of options (i.e. each item only had two options, and the lack of viable choices ticked me off).

After being a little hacked off that the questionairre had 50 questions, I managed to finish it. And, I was very surprised with the results. My scores were pretty low: 4,5, and 4 respectively.
Either:
A. I’m not as angry a person as I think I am.
B. Some incompetent nitwit didn’t program the form to score correctly!
I got an 8, a 7, and a 6. So what now? Primal scream therapy? AM classes? Tranqs?
Rodney: I think they need an impatience quotient for you.
Kevin: I think the test is a way for the doctor who came up with the test to sell his book. They get you to take the test and scare you into thinking you need to follow his method.
Exactly! I realized that and added some granulated sodium to my estimation of the test’s meaningfulness.
Aubrey, unless you’ve ever buried an ax or hammer in your monitor, your “anger” quotient wouldn’t come close to mine, even on a good day.
After all, you’re a libertarian. If your cynicism ranks at 10, mine would be about 300.
Kim, I think I’ve thrown a few small items across the room and said a few things that would peel paint, but I’ve never gone that far. Actually, I usually think of myself as pretty easy going. I would imagine that you would score off the charts on this test.
